Town Portal never disappoints. I feel in love with The Occident years back, and this continues their trajectory of excellence. I'm a sucker for odd metering and metric modulation, and this album tickles that fancy. Soil To Own somehow grooves hard like that one Herbie Hancock track, but has the rigidity of your high school calc exam. Figure that one out.

It took me a while to figure out the familiar sound of the vocals at times and finally I came up with it; The Dismemberment Plan! This album is so good and the fact that it reminds one of the past makes it just that much better.
